Visiting the dentist can be hard to plan sometimes, especially if you’re a new patient and have to remember bringing in your dental insurance card, filling out forms, and following any protocols that you learn about when you schedule your appointment. If your first appointment with us is for a checkup and cleaning, you can expect it to last about an hour. Once you’re shown back to one of our treatment rooms, you’ll have an opportunity to meet either Dr. Ryan or Dr. Leigh Weldon one-on-one to discuss any concerns or questions you have about your or your child's dental health. One of our dental hygienists or assistants will then collect any necessary diagnostic information, including X-rays or intraoral camera photos. Our team will thoroughly clean and polish your teeth, leaving your smile feeling healthy and refreshed. Dr. Ryan or Dr. Leigh will thoroughly examine your teeth and gums and will review their findings with you. If any treatment is recommended, they will discuss the different options as you work together to develop your personalized treatment plan.

We know that no one enjoys filling out paperwork, but our online forms allow you to complete them from your own device at any time. This way, when you arrive, your information is already securely stored in our system and we are able to begin your appointment immediately (an extra bonus when you have your hands busy with little ones!) As a courtesy to our patients, our office gladly files all dental insurance claims on your behalf. We are not contracted with any dental insurance company, which allows our dentists to give each patient individualized time and personalized treatment plans using the highest quality services and materials.
We can help explain the details of your plan if you have any questions to make dental insurance easier to navigate. Many dental insurance plans offer excellent coverage to “out-of-network” practices.
We ask that you pay your estimated patient portion of each visit at the time of service. We accept cash, checks, American Express, Discover, MasterCard, Visa, and CareCredit. You can learn more about CareCredit Financing below.
For patients who are uninsured, underinsured, or receiving treatments that aren’t covered by their dental insurance, we partner with third-party financiers to provide flexible monthly payment plans. Upon approval for Cherry or CareCredit, you’ll be able to choose a financing period of six or 12 months, allowing you to make smaller monthly payments that are easier to incorporate into your budget.
