It can be all-to-easy to pick something ambitious and get overwhelmed, and to wind up in March not having made any progress.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This year, you may want to pick something simple, achievable, and that can make a massive difference in how you feel. As it turns out, there are several ways that you can try to improve your <a href=\"https:\/\/www.weldondental.com\/preventive-dentistry.html\">oral health<\/a> that are easy enough for anyone to be consistent with. Here are a few you may want to try.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Brush Twice a Day, Every Day<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>It might sound simple, but there are plenty of people that don\u2019t really brush quite as often as they should. In surveys, around 30% of millennials admitted to brushing their teeth only once a day, and many copped to going as long 48 hours without it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you find that you often struggle to brush twice a day, turning that into a habit is an excellent resolution to make.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Start Flossing<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Flossing is something that everyone knows they ought to be doing, but that many people neglect. No matter how often or how well you brush, there are plaque deposits that can get trapped between the teeth, contributing to both gum disease and tooth decay. For that reason, you should prioritize flossing at least once a day, as this is the most effective way to clean out these bacteria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you struggle with traditional dental floss, you might also be interested in trying out floss threaders or interdental brushes. These are options that can make it much easier to clean between your teeth, requiring a bit less technique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">General Life Improvements<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Even if you have immaculate dental hygiene, you\u2019re fighting an uphill battle if you\u2019re making poor decisions otherwise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you\u2019re a smoker, for example, your oral health deteriorates every time you put a cigarette in your mouth. If you have a sweet tooth, over-indulging in candy can make gum disease flourish.
